Trusting God’s grace means trusting God’s love for us rather than our love for God. Therefore our prayers should consist mainly of rousing our awareness of God’s love for us rather than trying to rouse God’s awareness of our love for him. ~ Peter Kreeft
God loves you. You’ve heard that at least a thousand times, but do you really comprehend how deep and abiding His love is? There is nothing stronger than love. The Bible says love never fails. Why? Because there is nothing stronger or greater than God, and God IS Love! And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him (I John 4:16).
God loves you. Completely. Unfailingly. Eternally. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Every promise written in the Bible is for you. Every story of victory and deliverance was written to encourage you. The celebration of Christmas is a demonstration and proof of God’s great love for you. For unto US a child is born… All that God has done, all that Jesus has done was for YOU.
If God didn’t care what happened to you and me (and all the rest of us on this planet), He would not have sent Jesus to rescue us from satan’s clutches. But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Rom. 5:8). Commend means to entrust, to present as worthy of confidence, to approve as worthy. God deemed you worthy of Jesus’ sacrifice. God places a high value on His family. He loves you!
The extreme price Jesus paid was to please His Father (John 8:29) because He understood God’s great love for you. Together, they want you to be free, fully supplied, healed, full of joy and peace. God wanted you to become His child so He could shower His love on you and provide everything you need! In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (I John 4:9-10).
God loves you. Yes, you love God, but He loved you first. But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love, wherewith He loved us… hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace ye are saved) (Eph. 2:4-5). Quickened means made alive, energized, and made stronger. You are more than you think you are because God lives inside you, quickening you. You are all that God says you are because He created you!
God loves you. He has no grandkids. Those who believe and receive Jesus as Savior immediately become God’s adopted children, first generation heirs and joint heirs with Jesus. But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him (I Cor. 2:9). God prepared your inheritance before the foundation of the world (John 17:24; Eph. 1:4). He’s just waiting for your faith to become mature enough that He can pour out His blessings upon you (for the same reason you don’t give a ten-year-old your car keys).
It is God’s great love for you that provides everything you need, want or desire. It is your faith in that Love that draws those things from the Spirit realm into natural manifestation. Therefore it is of faith, that it might be given by grace [Love] to the end that the promise might be sure to all the seed… (Rom. 4:16). Every promise in God’s Word is provided by Love, and received by faith.
You’ve got more than enough of everything you need because God’s supply of whatever you need is infinite. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work (2 Cor. 9:8). Notice the ALLs in that verse. All encompasses everything-there is nothing left out of ALL. God loves you enough to open the kingdom doors and pour you out a blessing that there is not enough room to receive it (Mal. 3:10). That’s why David the Psalmist could say, “My cup runneth over.”
God loves you! Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God… (I John 3:1-2). What you appear to be in this physical realm, even who you perceive yourself to be, is not who you really are. There are no spiritual birth defects or lack of any kind in the heavenly realm.
God loves you. Whatever you need is already inside you because you are created in the image of God Himself! For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7). The Holy Spirit lives in you because God wants to be in constant contact with you (John 16:13; I John 3:24, 4:13).
Open your eyes to discern the truth of who you are in Christ Jesus. You are more than a conqueror. You have the mind of Christ. Jesus was made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification and redemption (I Cor.1:30). I cling to that verse whenever I’m facing a challenge that seems to have no solution.
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour (Eph. 5:2). Jesus gave up His heavenly privileges and came to earth as a human child to experience all of the pains and challenges you and I face. Then He accepted extreme pain and death to prove His great love for you. Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us… (I John 3:16).
God loves you. Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work (2 Thess. 2:16-17). You are complete in Him, fully supplied, divinely protected and dearly loved. God loves you BUNCHES!
